The weather & more

Check the weather forecast, before you go to the festival, so you can enjoy the festival in right clothing. It promises to be beautiful weather on Saturday, so that’s why we’re taking the following precautions.

– Ventilation will be present at the indoor areas;
– There are free waterpoints and taps at the toilets;
– We have a special “Cool Down Area” where you can cool down and experience some water fun;
– Cooling and shade can also be found under the trees along the water side;
– And of course on the water in the paddle boats.
– Because of the drought, we are not allowed to have any fireworks.

It is allowed to bring your own sunscreen, only in packages of 100ml or smaller. Spray cans and sprays are not allowed. In addition, there will be sunscreen at the first aid and at the info point in stock.

Drinking bottles
This edition it’s allowed to take empty drinking bottles or bidons (up to 50cl). It is also possible to buy water at the bar during the festival. Free water available at various (water) filling points at the toilets.

Large backpacks, weekend bags and suitcases are not allowed on Electronic Family. Small bags such as handbags may just go inside.


Parking ticket
Are you coming by car? There is a car park within walking distance of the festival. You need a parking ticket to be able to park here. These can be purchased online in advance via the webshop for €10,00 each, or on location for € 15,00.

Public transport
Visitors who travel by public transport can take the shuttle bus from the Den Bosch railway station to the festival site.These shuttle buses run from 11.00 – 01.00 hours. A return shuttle bus ticket costs €5,00 online. They can also be bought on location for €10,00. It is not possible to buy a one-way ticket. Refer to for the most up-to-date travel information.

Kiss & Ride
Are you being taken away and / or picked up? This is possible at the Kiss & Ride location. Follow the signs to ‘Brengen / Halen’.

Zero Tolerance
Drugs are not allowed at Electronic Family. We have a zero tolerance policy. The moment you are caught with drugs, this leads to denial of access to the festival grounds and transfer to the police.

Professional photo and film equipment
It is prohibited to bring (semi-) professional photo and film equipment and use it at the festival. GoPro cameras are allowed, but without the use of extras such as sticks. Selfie sticks are not allowed due safety reasons.

Lost & Found
The found items service is provided by iLost. If you have found something, you can hand it in at the information stand at the festival site. You can also drop by when you have lost something. Anything that is not picked up can be found via the iLost website after the festival.

If you have a combined ticket or separate ticket for the afterparty, choose the right lane at the entrance. You’ll receive the wristband after scanning your afterparty ticket that will give you access to the afterparty in the evening.

Please take care of your ears! With music above 87 dB it is smart to use earplugs with a special music filter. With these earplugs, you can still hear the music perfectly, conversations remain audible and, most important of all; you prevent hearing damage and the annoying ringing after the event. Plus, the Alpine PartyPlug earplugs are super comfortable. During Electronic Family Alpine PartyPlug earplugs will be available on the festival grounds in an automat at the info point. The PartyPlug earplugs are reusable, so you can protect your ears not only at Electronic Family, but on other events as well. Love your ears!

The payment method at Electronic Family are tokens. With this you can order drinks at the bar, eat in our food court and buy merchandise. The tokens can be bought with card or cash at the cash desks on the festival site or online via Tokens are only valid on day of event.
